These sessions are free to attend and will each contribute three hours to your CPD*.

Booking if limited to three places per organisation.

*Continuous professional developed (CPD) and property licencing

If you are a property licensing holder you are required to complete five hours CPD each year. These events contribute towards your CPD.

In order to meet the CPD requirements the person attending the event must be the licence holder, although other partners may wish to attend as well.

If the licence holder is an organisation the attendee must be the most appropriate person.

We understand that many landlords don’t live in Newcastle, or these dates and times won’t meet everyone’s work life balance. If you are unable to attend these events there are a number of alternative options, you can consider to fulfil your CPD requirements.

If you are a member of the NRLA they host regular local landlord forums across the county, contact your local NRLA rep for details. The NRLA also run several landlord training events including e classrooms and e learning options.

In addition, many areas have independent landlord forums ran by Local Authorities or Local Landlord groups. These events provide excellent opportunities to keep up to date with legislation, share best practise and network.

Fair use and non-attendance policy

We allow landlords to attend one session of each available title per 12 month period for free. If a landlord wishes to repeat a specific session within a 12 month period, we reserve the right to pass on a standard charge of £75 per delegate.

We allow delegates to cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the session. Delegates can cancel via email, telephone or by cancelling their place on Eventbrite. We send a reminder before each event and remind delegates to let us know if they can no longer attend.
