Lead From Within: A Practical Leadership Workshop for Business Owner

Lead From Within: A Practical Leadership Workshop for Business Owner

By Power2Progress

Overview

A reflective workshop helping owner-managed business leaders align themselves, their team, and their organisation.

If someone glanced at your business, they’d probably say, “You’re doing well.”

Inside, it can feel more like you’re constantly:

  • keeping half an eye on the numbers
  • holding the team steady when things wobble
  • being the person everyone brings their questions and worries to
  • trying to switch all of that off enough to be present at home

Most days start in your inbox and end with your head still crowded when you finally hit the pillow.

Over time, your days blur into each other, you slip from choosing to coping, and what’s urgent begins to drown out what really matters.

So slowly, the way you’re leading stops feeling like you.

It’s not that you don’t care. It’s that you rarely get uninterrupted space to see things clearly enough to change it.

But what if you had one day to put all of that down and look at it properly?

On Friday, 9th January 2026, that’s exactly what we’re doing, and you’re invited.

We’ll gather in The Elm Suite at Sedgebrook Hall (Northampton) for:

Lead From Within: A Practical Leadership Workshop for Business Owners

Across one focused day, we’ll work on three essential cogs of your business:

  • Self: how you lead from within, especially when pressure hits
  • Team: the culture your tone, boundaries, and communication are creating
  • Organisation: the systems and numbers everything rests on

You’ll also see how AI, used well, can help you buy back some headspace – with simple, non-techy tools that support your communication, planning, and decision-making.

You’ll spend the day with Anjana Rajani, a leadership coach and consultant for the past 17 years, along with two guest speakers (both managing directors of their own businesses):

  • Chartered Accountant, Javaria Sarmad
  • IT solutions specialist and AI advisor, Greg Du-feu.

Together, they will help you join the dots between how you feel, how you lead, how your team functions, and how your business is built – so you leave with a clearer head, renewed energy, and a more aligned way of leading in 2026.

Who this workshop is for:

This day is designed for owners and directors of small to medium owner-managed businesses who:

  • Are responsible for leading people, whether that’s a team, contractors, or key relationships
  • Feel capable, but often find themselves pulled into the day-to-day with very little space to think
  • Want a calmer, clearer way to lead in 2026, without pretending to be someone they’re not
  • Care about their people, their work and their own wellbeing, and are open to reflecting honestly on all three

It’s not about high-performance hype or complicated models.

It’s for thoughtful business owners who:

  • Care about their people and their performance.
  • Want their business to work with them, not against them.
  • Are ready to look honestly at themselves, their team and their systems, and make practical changes.

If you read this and recognise yourself in two or more of those lines, this day is perfect for you.

What's included in your ticket

Your £99.99 ticket includes:

  • A full-day workshop (10:00am–4:00pm) in The Elm Suite, Sedgebrook Hall
  • Facilitation from Anjana Rajani.
  • Talk from guest speaker, Javaria Sarmad.
  • Talk from guest speaker, Greg Du-feu.
  • Unlimited tea and coffee throughout the day
  • Chef’s sweet treat during breaks
  • A 2-course hot & cold buffet lunch
  • Filtered still water available in the room
  • Complimentary notepads, writing pads and pens for your reflections
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi and on-site car parking

The workshop is small enough to feel safe, but big enough to learn from other business owners’ realities.

What you'll leave with:

You won’t leave with a big binder or an abstract model you’ll never look at again.

Instead, you’ll walk away with:

  • A simple 90-day focus sheet focusing on yourself, your team, and your organisation – one page you can keep visible as you progress through 2026 and beyond.
  • 2-3 specific finance actions you can take to increase visibility and reduce stress (for you and your team)
  • 2-3 practical AI experiments to try in your business - even if you don’t feel “techy”
  • A clearer sense of what sustainable leadership looks like for you, not just in theory
  • Notes, reflections, and questions captured throughout the day to revisit afterwards
  • A renewed feeling of calm, clarity and possibility as you think about the year ahead

For many people, including you, the value of just one better decision, one honest conversation, or one clearer financial rhythm is worth far more than the ticket price.
