Every design business has its own unique characteristics – whether you have an office dog or pizza and beer on a Friday afternoon, there’s always an attribute which makes your business like no other. Culture filters from the top down, so as a leader your personal style influences the working environment. Get it right and your business will thrive: an engaging culture helps to retain your high performers, in the end increasing your profitability.
With the direct and tangible influence that you have on your business success, how can you be sure that you’re having the desired impact?
It takes time and commitment to become a great leader, so your best qualities shine through in your business culture. Tailored specifically for leaders in the design industry, this half day workshop with industry expert Allison McSparron-Edwards will help you make your ideal vision of leadership a reality. Identify your strengths and your leadership style, whether you’re an entrepreneur, a manager, or anything in-between. Understand what makes a great leadership team so you can identify skills gaps in your business. You’ll come away with a deeper understanding of your strengths and limitations and those of your leadership team, and you’ll be able to identify the impact on your business growth.
This workshop will cover:
- Developing a holistic approach to leading your business.
- Understanding what makes your businesses special, and what your role is as its leader.
- Understanding the importance of setting goals for your business.
- Identifying the key behaviours which make leaders successful.
You’ll leave with:
- A deeper understanding of your core leadership competencies and their influence on your business success.
- Knowledge of the characteristics needed in your team to increase your business success.
- An awareness of the culture in your business, and the small changes you can make as a leader to improve your chances of success.
You are your business – make sure the best of you comes through as a leader.
