Event description
Performance-raising secrets from the world of stand-up comedy. See your leadership role, goals and challenges through a fresh lens!

About this Event

In this session we are delighted to welcome coach, comic, TEDx speaker and author Harriet Beveridge. Harriet will share performance-raising secrets from the world of stand-up comedy, helping you to see your leadership role, goals and challenges through a deliciously fresh lens. Explore how to use comedic techniques to make your organisation a more creative, productive and enjoyable place to work.

Learn how to:

  • Copy the way comics are always looking for a laugh. How to use this approach to stay focussed on what’s truly important to your organisation – rather than just being busy, busy, busy
  • Use the same process which stand up comics use to generate jokes – in order to smash negative beliefs and find creative solutions to your challenges
  • Embrace uncertainty, risk – and even failure – as a vital part of progress, learning and growth.

This promises to be a very funny session, which packs a serious punch.
