Leaders of the Future: Diversity in Leadership

On Thursday 3 May 2018, Ambition School Leadership in partnership with the Titan Partnership and Birmingham City Council are hosting a regional event promoting Diversity in Leadership. We'll be exploring the diverse skills leaders need in order to deal with the current and future challenges in education, as well as exploring the massive benefit of developing a diverse group of leaders.

Colin Diamond CBE, Corporate Director Children and Young People at Birmingham City Council, Heath Monk, Executive Director of the Schools of King Edward VI, Ava Sturridge-Packer CBE, former Executive Head Teacher at St. Mary’s CoE Primary School and Ammo Talwar MBE, CEO of Punch Records and Chair of Core Education Trust will be providing keynote addresses.

Here at Ambition School Leadership and Titan Partnership, we want to close the achievement gap between disadvantaged children and their wealthier peers. We believe great leaders, leading great teachers, can make all the difference. By bringing together local school leaders to network and share their different perspectives on how to support diversity and improve educational standards, we can make an area wide impact on pupil achievement.

The event is also open to those who play a role in supporting leadership in schools locally.
