About this event

About the Webinar

This is the last in our series of 5 webinars, looking at hybrid working from different perspectives.

In the short term, for many organisations the transition to hybrid working will be focussed on the need to maintain their basic functions. Changing operational models and an increased reliance on technology will facilitate information sharing, the processing of tasks, monitoring outcomes, communicating online etc.

However, over the medium and longer term, operational models and the use of technology are rarely the elements that define successful organisations. Individuals feeling connected and engaged, strong cohesive teams that deliver creativity and productivity, and a culture aligned with strategic goals are the elements that position organisations for success.

Our speakers will explore how in a time of uncertainty and change, skills like compassion, trust and effective communication have become essential leadership skills. For a distributed workforce, these skills are the gel that binds teams together and leaders must adopt them, and nurture them in their management teams.

Our Webinar Series: Perspectives on Hybrid Working

As the UK begins to return to work in a more recognisable way, there’s a widespread acknowledgement that working patterns won't go back to the way they were before. It’s likely that ‘the workplace’ will be a mixture of office, home, shared workspace and café. Flexible working, rather than 9 to 5 will be the norm.

Drawing on the insights of our consulting team, as the transition to hybrid working evolves across our client base, we’ve put together a series of 5 webinars looking at hybrid working from the perspectives of People, Leadership & Management, and Culture. We identify what has changed, where the risks and opportunities lie, and how to formulate a plan to capture the full benefits that this new way of working has to offer.
