A full day training that provides a safe and creative space for leaders to explore, increase awareness, learn some effective tools, and gain insight into some of the key components that contribute to effective leadership development, and how to positively influence others under your management and responsibility.

Who is the course for?

- Individuals currently managing others and seek to expand and sharpen their skills and understanding in order to get the best out of their teams.

- Individuals planning to make the transition into a management role and want to identify the key tools and strategies to effective leadership.

- Professionals that play a key role in influencing and supporting individuals in any capacity and want to gain more insight into the fundamentals of what makes this possible.

What will it cover?

In this training you will:

- Have a clear understanding of what makes a good, assertive and influential leader.

- Raise awareness of the dangers of Cognitive Biases in leadership when making decisions.

- Be conscious of the five main reasons why people may follow their leaders.

- Explore Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs applied to employee engagement.

- Develop your understanding of the differences between how a Boss and a Leader effect staff morale.

- Discover and reflect on Ten Diverse Leadership Styles that leaders operate in.

- Have a deeper knowledge of the ‘Golden Circle’ Model of Leadership and it’s influences on others.

- Explore what are the key steps for Effective Delegation and how this empowers individuals.

- Identify the importance of employee recognition and the consequences of neglecting this vital tool.

- Look over how conflict escalation occurs and the key steps to addressing it when it arises.

About the trainer:

Ezra's experience includes:

- Fourteen years supporting individuals around their self care, wellbeing, substance misuse and recovery.

- Twelve years working within the Criminal Justice Sector.

- Eleven years facilitating psycho-social group based interventions (both in the prison establishment and in the community).

- Over a decade of experience leading, coaching, influencing and developing teams.

- Eight years experience of designing and delivering training and workshops.

- Seven years volunteering as a trained Role Model for Reach Society https://www.reachsociety.com/

All participants will receive a CPD certificate providing evidence of course content and handouts at the end of the session.
