About this event

DISC analysis to understand and improve communication and team working.

Research shows that we fall into patterns of preferred (or learned) behaviours over time and in different settings and roles. This course allows delegates to examine their own working preferences and communication styles, with a view to understanding how these impact on a range of leadership roles such as change management, problem solving and conflict resolution. Through a combination of formal behavioural analysis, personal reflection, content delivery and breakout group discussion, this course aims to help delegates find ways to improve how they communicate with, and work with, their teams.

Please note that delegates will be required to undertake a 20 minute online behavioural analysis assessment (in advance) in order to participate in this course.

This course is led by Liz Price, Head of Training, CPD and Risk Advisory Services.

Upon completion, a certificate detailing three hours of verifiable CPD will be provided by MDDUS to all attendees.

This course has been accredited by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK for 3 CPD credits.

Other dates available:

3rd October 2023 (13:00 - 15:00)

Please read before booking:

  • You MUST have a webcam, speaker and microphone available on the device you intend use to access the training. This will ensure you are able to fully engage with the speaker/other delegates. This also allows our CPD verification process to be robust.
  • You MUST be able to access and fully participate in a Zoom meeting from whatever device you choose to use. Please cut and paste the following URL into your internet browser to access help on how to do this. The page includes the option to join a ‘test meeting’ from the device you intend to use. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-meeting
  • If you experience any technical difficulty when checking you can access Zoom it could be because your local IT support is blocking access. If this happens you might consider using your own mobile device instead – Zoom works well on tablets.
