You are cordially invited to the first of many workshops in relation to Leadership in Dynamic Safeguarding taking place in Birmingham on the 31st May 2017 and London on the 1st June 2017.
Book your place on Leadership and Dynamic Safeguarding and assess:
- The statutory obligations and opportunities following the Wood Review in relation to your policies, practice and procedures
- How the broader, wider partnership requirements relating to a community led or a community partnership response to Dynamic Safeguarding can be realistically achieved for mutual benefit
- How to develop cultural awareness mechanisms, enhance corporate relevance and increase opportunities for social action in relation to this agenda, even when you are under pressure to consider budgetary constraints
This course will support you to develop leadership strategies and explore the systemic changes required to rethink community enablement and Dynamic Safeguarding in the company of a wide range of policy makers and practitioners from Children’s Services, Education, Commercial Services, Criminal Justice, Mental Health, Community Health Providers, Private Security Services, Probation Officers, Immigrations Specialist, Youth Violence Practitioners, and community based leaders working in vulnerable communities.
“Without real leadership safeguarding is merely another box ticking exercise, Amanda Wood’s workshop is a breath of fresh air in a professional environment in desperate need of ethical leadership” David Weaver, Leadership and change management specialist, and President, British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy
Special Guest Speaker: Hear Patrick Vernon or Gwenton Sloley talk in relation to trauma, communities and cultural leadership
