Session Two - Leadership in ELC: Putting your Vision, Values and Aims into practice.

In the second of this year's sessions on Leadership in ELC we will reflect on vision,

values and aims and look in depth at the role of the leader in ensuring these are

informing practice within the ELC setting. Participants will be given opportunities

to reflect on your own current practice, discuss with others and explore good

practice examples. You will be supported to develop an action plan to implement

any identified areas for development.

This is part of a six session programme exploring the role of the leader in ELC.

Attendees will benefit from improving their awareness of their own leadership strengths

and areas for development. Throughout the sessions you will be supported to reflect on

and improve your knowledge of the role of a leader in ELC and develop your skills in

leading others in ELC. Current frameworks, research, good practice guidance and sharing

good practice from across the authority will be used throughout the programme.

Each session will cover a different aspect of leadership in ELC, attendees are not

expected to attend all 6, but can if they choose. Please book on to each session

individually.
