Leadership is not enough
Tue 15 November 2016, 18:00 – 20:00 GMT
Speaker: Adrian Atkinson
As the UK economy continues to transform at a pace of change which would leave previous generations mesmerised, organisations are adapting with greater or lesser degrees of success. At the heart of the debate is leadership: never has there been a greater need for transformational leadership which combines strategic vision and exceptional people skills
Business Psychology continues to make a considerable contribution to the Leadership debate. Several different styles of Leadership have been proposed with some more convincing than others. However many leaders are not effective and very few are consistently driving a successful business. HFI is a leader in best practice internationally in this area and by specialising in it over the years have identified the characteristics of these few leaders who are consistently successful.
Adrian will look at best practice in the use of Business Psychology in the area of Leadership and will discuss the implications for the selection and development of such fascinating people who we call ‘Wealth Creators’.
