About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

We’re excited to invite you to join with Empowering Communities and City College Norwich to discuss how CCN can deliver skills development via apprenticeships for leaders and managers in the Voluntary and Community Sector.

  • Do you work in a Norfolk Voluntary, Community or Social Enterprise (VCSE) and want to develop your leadership and management skills?
  • Are you interested in developing your professional network?
  • Would you like to achieve a nationally recognised qualification and progress your career in the voluntary sector?

Find out more about apprenticeships offered in Norfolk for VCSE staff, at little or no cost to your employer!

The event will start with an overview of courses offered and how these meet VCSE needs, ‘myth-busting’ around apprenticeships, and first-hand testimonies on the difference studying at CCN makes to both individuals and the organisation.

Apprenticeships Norfolk will also be on hand to explain how their Levy Support Scheme can transfer unspent levy funds to cover apprenticeship training costs for VCSE employees. And there will be scope for Q&A throughout.

Following the interactive delivery you will have time for networking with light refreshments available.

This is an ideal opportunity to see the fully equipped study environment at Norfolk House, ideal for managers who study with CCN.

Access – Norfolk House is a short walk for those based in the city centre or using public transport, and there are several short-stay carparks nearby. More info can be found here.

The building is fully accessible. For those needing on-site parking for accessibility reasons we have a very small number of spaces in a shared carpark that can be reserved upon request.

This event is delivered by City College Norwich in partnership with Empowering Communities.
