Leadership Summit: Arts, Culture & Heritage
Race Council Cymru invites leaders and organisations in Wales’ arts, culture & heritage sectors to an online roundtable on Tuesday, 14th Oct 2025, 12 PM –2 PM, in partnership with the Welsh Government Culture Dept & Anti-Racism Wales Action Plan Team.
This is a chance to:
- Connect with cultural leaders across Wales
- Share progress, challenges & good practices
- Explore collaboration & sector-wide action
Theme:Building on Conversations, Deepening Impact
Event Description:Join Race Council Cymru for a reflective and action-driven session bringing together reverse mentors, arts organisations, sector leaders, and the wider public. This follow-up round table builds upon the ongoing Reverse Mentoring Programme, designed to advance anti-racism in arts and culture across Wales.
The session will provide a platform for reverse mentors and arts organisations to share lived experiences, collaborations, and practical strategies that have emerged through the programme. It is an opportunity to deepen impact by moving beyond conversation into tangible action that transforms cultural practice and embeds inclusivity at every level of the arts sector.
Participants will gain insight into how the Reverse Mentoring Programme is reshaping leadership thinking, challenging systemic barriers, and creating more equitable cultural spaces. The session will also highlight stories of collaboration and innovation that demonstrate the power of reverse mentoring to drive sector-wide change.
This is an inclusive space: all are welcome. Whether you are part of an arts organisation, a cultural leader, a policymaker, or a member of the public passionate about anti-racism in the arts, your contribution is valuable.
