Leadership Symposium: Good Innovation Happens When...
Event Information
About this Event
The need for collaboration and innovation has never been greater as we as public servants address the challenge of designing and implementing for better outcomes.
Often we get focused on the negatives and just see lots of obstacles that rob us of energy and initiative. Sometimes good ideas get lost because the obstacles seem too great. But, equally, lots of good innovation is going on all around us. Just what are the secrets of success? What is it that makes the difference? Can these factors be identified? Can they be replicated?
This event will be opened by David Sterling, Head of NICS; with keynote speaker Rowan Conway, who has written extensively on public entrepreneurship. The event will be closed by Sue Gray, Permanent Secretary, Department of Finance.
