Leadership Training

Join our next cohort of leadership training designed exclusively for SCPHN School Nurses, equipping them with the personal and collective leadership skills to lead, advocate and influence within the unique landscape of public health School Nursing. Developed and delivered by experienced SCPHN School Nurses and/or academics, it focuses on the real-world challenges and opportunities of the profession. Unlike broader leadership programmes, this course ensures participants gain relevant, practical strategies to drive meaningful change in their roles, services, and communities.

The training takes place over several dates. You must attend all training sessions and Action Learning Sets to successfully complete the training.

Sessions are 09:30 – 17:00

22 January 2026 - DAY 1 – online taught session

19 February 2026 - DAY 2 - Facilitated Action Learning Set (ALS)

16 April 2026 - DAY 3 – online taught session

14 May 2026 - DAY 4 – presentations, feedback, how can SAPHNA support you

Cost:

We accept self-funded participants and those funded by their employer. We have discounted rates for SAPHNA members and discounts for group bookings.

Individual booking:

Non-members £500/person

Members £425/person (15% discount)

Group bookings of 5+ people: (5% discount on individual rates plus members rates discounted by 15%)

Non-members £475/person

Members £403.75/person

Group bookings of 10+ people: (10% discount on individual rates plus members rates discounted by 15%)

Non-members £450/person

Members £382.50/person

Group bookings (or private training) of 15+ people:

Non-members £6,000 (less than £400/person)

Members £5,000 (less than £333/person)
