Leading a team in the EYFS
Friday, 25 November 2016 from 09:00 to 15:00 (GMT)
An introduction to leading a team in the EYFS
Who is this event for?
All those leading a team of professionals in the Early Years Foundation Stage – schools, nursery schools, private voluntary and independent settings, - particularly NQTs, phase leaders, managers of PVI settings and childminders working with assistants.
What is the course about?
Leading a team is highly complex and we all need particular skills to support us in building an effective ethos for working together.
This day will give participants a chance to reflect on their current leadership and how they work with their team. It will provide some useful tools and frameworks to consider when working alongside and leading others.
There will be a chance to reflect on the importance of listening as a leader, creating a happy team and how to enable you to move forward together.
This will be an inspiring day, with practical elements, and you will leave with new insights into how to lead positively and productively.
Hosted by the staff of Robert Owen Early Years Centre - a STEEP founding member
