About this event

In this one-day workshop you will learn the basic techniques of cutting coloured glass to shape, leading and soldering the pieces to produce a simple but charming piece of stained glass. If you have previously attending a painting day you will also be able to incorporate your painted piece into a leaded panel.

Tickets cost £75 which includes all materials and use of tools. Refreshments are provided but you should make your own arrangements for lunch.

The Stained Glass Centre is based at the former church of St Martin-cum-Gregory, a beautifully evocative Grade I listed building situated on Micklegate in York's historic centre. The Stained Glass Centre is a national resource for the discovery and interpretation of stained glass, giving visitors the opportunity to participate in, and learn about, this important and beautiful art form.
