Do you want to develop your management strategies and leadership style? What methods, skills and qualities do you need to refine?
Just because we're experienced, qualified and good at what we do doesn't mean to say we can lead other people in the same field. People management is a role independent of the job we do requiring its own set of skills and qualities.
Whether you're looking to move upwards in your current role, already with management responsibilities but looking to develop your skillset or seeking new challenges, we can help you. In this webinar we will explore the basic principles of leadership and management, considering some successful leadership theories and strategies, solutions and methods.
- Managing, coaching or leading - what's the difference and what do you need for your career?
- What's the difference between a group of people and a team?
- How can you develop a strong team where individuals' skills, expertise and qualifications are optimised?
- How can you motivate your people?
- What is the relationship between business objectives and performance measures?
- What is your leadership style?
- What are your legal responsibilities?
- How are you supporting and being supported?
- Are you communicating effectively?
Please note that this is a 2 hour interactive session including a short break with plenty of opportunities for Q and A throughout.
