What do we need of a leader to navigate a team through the constantly changing landscape of Libraries and Information Services (in all sectors)? Agility, empathy, resilience and an inspirational approach will help enormously. This workshop isn’t about providing simplistic answers. It offers an opportunity to share experiences and explore valuable tools and techniques for communicating and motivating during rapidly changing and sometimes stressful times.
As a result of this training, you will be able to:
- Recognise & understand responses to change
- Provide direction & communicate changes in a clear and constructive way
- Gain commitment to change by involving staff
- Identify actions you can take to support and motivate people through change
During the workshop, each participant will prepare and practise delivering a ‘change’ communication as well as initiating a plan for forthcoming changes.
