Event description
A short but impactful introductory session into the 'outward mindset’ .

About this event

This session has been designed to support people who are leading and delivering work across organisational boundaries within their communities.

This is the second in our “leading at Neighbourhood and Place” series, designed to support people who are leading and delivering work across organisational boundaries within their communities.

To improve population outcomes, whilst tackling the challenges of Covid, advancing the development of Integrated Care Systems (ICS) and the persistent health inequalities of our communities – health and care service practitioners need to develop robust and effective cross organisational collaborations and networks. The outward mindset enables those leading and delivering work within neighbourhoods and local place to:

  • Build trust and resilience
  • Dismantle silo’s
  • Create new ways of working
  • Focus on collaborative efforts
  • Be self-accountable
  • Have honest conversations

The session will be delivered by Alec Grimsley, a highly experienced experienced Arbinger mindset coach and facilitator. Alec coaches senior Executives from several well-known national and global organisations and regularly facilitates and speaks on mindset. He has worked with The Executive teams of approximately 17 NHS and local authority organisations and several ICS/STP’s

Joining Instructions including a Zoom link will be sent to attendee's 1 week prior to event - Please check your Junk/Spam folders.

In the past financial year, participant DNAs and Late Cancellations at our events and programmes resulted in a loss of over £20,000 of NHS funding. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible or nominate a colleague to attend on your behalf. This will ensure that we make best use of public monies and are able to continue to provide development services in future.
