Description

Employee engagement is vital for organisational success. However, if diversity and inclusion is not taken into account and with  unconscious bias in the forefront, this can result in some diverse groups being less engaged than others. The Engage for Success Thought and Action Group on Diversity and Inclusion are holding a half-day conference which specifically focuses on; providing updates on our research, exploring different perspectives and discussing current themes in the topical area of Diversity, Inclusion and Employee Engagement. At this conference you will learn how to address diversity and inclusion in relation to engagement and obtain the performance benefits this offers, e.g. higher productivity, enhanced and more creative problem solving, greater innovation, increased employee retention, more diverse representation in senior management.

The programme will be led by David McLeod, Engage for Success founder, followed by presentations from our two key note speakers from Citibank and Cisco who will share their perspectives and describe the work and progress that their organisations are making.

There will be an opportunity for delegates to participate in round table discussions specifically discussing the themes of;

  • barriers around implementing Diversity and Inclusion into practice,

  • identifying  success/ good practice and

  • exploring the role of diversity and inclusion in organisations.

The session will conclude with a panel Q&A.

Programme Registration (tea/coffee) at 9.00 am and it is anticipated that the programme will close at 1.15 followed by lunch and networking opportunities.
