Leading From Non-Fear: Immersive Online Leadership Course

Overview

For the first time, 3 former senior monastics of Thich Nhat Hanh guide a deep dive into leading with non-fear, courage & compassion.

True leadership is not about domination, status, or external success. It is born from stillness. It is rooted in presence, compassion, clarity—seeing deeply, loving wisely.

In the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, power is not wielded; it is awakened within. It is the power of cutting off anger, craving, and ignorance; the power of insight born from mindfulness; the power to extend loving kindness in action.

When a leader leads from this place, transformation ripples: fear softens; understanding blooms; decisions arise not from reaction, but from deep listening and true clarity.

What You Can Expect When You Attend

  • Immersion in daily mindful practices: sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful eating, silent reflection—each practice helping you come home to the present moment. (The root of leadership in Plum Village tradition is everyday mindfulness.)

  • Deep sharing circles - safe, heart-centred spaces where entrepreneurs, leaders, and practitioners can remove the masks we so often wear.
A place to speak honestly about challenges, fears, aspirations, and growth.
A place to be witnessed with compassion, without judgement.
These circles cultivate real connection, trust, and friendship — relationships that can continue to be nurtured long after the course has ended.

  • Teachings on the Three Virtues of leadership: cutting off (letting go of unwholesome habits and fears), loving-kindness (compassion, forgiveness, reconciliation), and insight (seeing clearly into what is, what causes suffering, what can bring healing).

  • Exploration of interbeing: understanding how our actions, words, presence affect others and the whole — grounding leadership in connectedness and responsibility.

  • Practices for communication and relationship: deep listening, speaking truth with compassion, bridging fear rather than letting it create distance. (From Thich Nhat Hanh’s “The Art of Communicating” among others.)

  • Cultivation of spiritual authority — not by rank or force, but by the fruit of practice: calm, kindness, clarity, and the willingness to show up honestly.

  • A living sangha: accompanying others on this path. Support beyond the days of the retreat — building relationships of trust, shared practice, mutual care.

Community: Beyond the Retreat

This gathering is not simply an event — it is the planting of a community.

• Sharing Circles for Leaders — entrepreneurs, organisational leaders, change-makers, and all those guiding others in any capacity. Safe, grounded spaces to share challenges, insights, aspirations, and the real stories behind leadership.

• Collaborative Wisdom & Peer Support — circles where ideas can cross-pollinate, where leaders can learn from each other, and where collective insight strengthens personal practice.

• Ongoing Community After the Retreat — regular gatherings, shared practices, support networks, and opportunities for collaboration. Long after the retreat ends, the community continues — a living Sangha of awakened leadership.

This is about building a field of belonging, where leaders can walk alongside others committed to courage, compassion, and non-fear.

Why You Might Say “Yes”

Because what is asked of leaders today is more than strategy. In turbulent times, in moments of fear, it is the grounded heart, the open mind, and compassionate presence that lead others.

This gathering invites you to draw deeply from Thich Nhat Hanh’s lineage — to reclaim the art of true power; to learn to hold fear without being its victim; to embody leadership that serves peace.

Reserve your place — such opportunities are rare. Walk this path, with clarity, courage, and compassion, and go forward renewed.
