Leading in Clinical Research Delivery

This event will bring together Senior Research Delivery Nurses, Midwives, AHPs and Health Care Professions from the South Central RRDN region to:
- Strengthen cross-site networks for collaboration and shared learning
- Deepen understanding of the evolving research landscape and its impact on clinical research delivery.
- To understand current priorities in your role and your leadership and influence in meeting the local and national priorities.
- To develop and strengthen a community of practice of research delivery team leaders working in the region to support development of the research portfolio.
The day will include:
Latest updates - including Fit for the Future (the 10 year health plan for England), RDN Funding Model.
Metrics , including 150 days - what it means and where do we have influence?
How do we assess our teams capacity? - UKCRF Study Instensity Tool
Development Opportunites.
Target Audience
Typically AfC Band 6 and above (or equivalent), experienced Research Nurses, Midwives, AHPs and Healthcare Professions who are leading a patient facing team and are responsible for the day to day management/supervision of staff setting up and delivering NIHR Portfolio studies.
Lunch and refreshements will be provided.
Free parking onsite - car sharing encouraged.
