Overview

Activity Alliance is pleased to host our first Community of Practice event as part of our ongoing commitment to inclusion

Join us for a relaxed webinar where we will explore what Leading Inclusion looks like across different places, teams, and contexts.

Leading Inclusion is Activity Alliances framework supporting organisations, networks, and places to embed inclusive practice. Through self-reflection, group discussion and meaningful action planning, this process enables us to address stubborn inequalities by working with others, drive action to ensure disabled people can influence policy and decision making, and ultimately ensure sports and activities meet disabled people's needs. Find out more about Leading Inclusion here.

In this Community of Practice event, you’ll hear directly from partners who have put Leading Inclusion into practice - each with their own journeys, challenges, and successes.

Our panel will share open and honest reflections on:

Implementation: How they have developed Leading Inclusion within their specific locations.

Overcoming Barriers: Navigating unexpected challenges.

Impact: The successes and positive changes they’ve seen so far.

Adaptability: How action plans have improved to fit local needs and priorities.

Whether you’re already involved in Leading Inclusion or you’re interested in finding out more, this event offers a welcoming space to listen, learn, and connect with others who are passionate about inclusive change.

Book on and join us - everyone is welcome.

Together, we’re creating places, spaces, and experiences where every disabled person feels they belong in sports and activities.
