Leading the IPC

This course is for those people who have or will have responsibility for leadership, coordination and management of the IPC in their school. The course will equip participants with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to lead the implementation of the IPC in their schools and to give advice to colleagues on IPC related matters.
Fiona Knapp has been an Associate Trainer for the International Primary Curriculum and Fieldwork Education since 2007, has led training for schools across the UK and in Belgium, Bratislava, Bulgaria, China, El Salvador, France, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Egypt, Malaysia, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA and also plans and leads courses at IPC Summer Schools. She is a Consultant/Assessor for schools seeking accreditation as a ‘Thinking School’, an initiative developed in partnership between the Cognitive Education Development Unit at the University of Exeter and Kestrel Education. Fiona is an Honorary University Fellow and works closely with the CEDU in the school assessment and accreditation process at both primary and secondary level. She is an accredited trainer in a range of thinking tools and strategies including Growing Thinking Schools, Habits of Mind, Questioning for Enquiry, David Hyerle’s Thinking Maps and Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats® and CoRT1 Tools. Fiona has also delivered training in schools on behalf of Espresso Education, is a school Governor, and a Godly Play trainer and storyteller, working with both adults and children within the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.
