Event description

Description

Event Overview:

The Nuka System of Care is recognized as one of the world's leading models of health care redesign. It is also the name given to Southcentral Foundation's whole health care system, which provides medical, dental, behavioural, traditional and health care support services to more than 65,000 Alaska Native people in the United States of America.

"I think it's the leading example of health care redesign in the nation, maybe the world." - Don Berwick, Former Administrator for Centres for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Following on from our highly successful Transformation Masterclass with Southcentral Foundation in October 2016, AQuA are delighted to offer you a unique opportunity to attend an intensive ‘deep dive’ session to learn more about Nuka, alongside some of the senior leadership team from Southcentral Foundation.

What will attendees learn at this event / workshop?

The session will provide you with the opportunity:

  • To learn from the system leadership journey of senior leaders from the Nuka system of care
  • To explore how you could apply their experience to your systems and system leadership development
  • To network with other system leaders and share experiences and learning

Who is this event aimed at?

This event is aimed exclusively at senior leaders who attended our previous event Learning from the Nuka Health & Wellbeing System, in October 2016.

If you did not attend this event, but would like to be considered for this one, please contact Adam.Wallis@srft.nhs.uk
