****Please note that it is not essential to attend both sessions

to have a full understanding of their contents, but it would be beneficial) ****

Across the higher education sector colleagues are being asked to change their programmes – their curricula, their learning and teaching methods and their support for students. Based on the highly successful LTLT programme delivered jointly by the HEA and Leadership Foundation, these very interactive workshops will enable participants to start new learning and teaching initiatives as well as ensure that they are sustainable.

Workshop One ( 10:30 - 12:00): The morning workshop will focus on completing a learning and teaching transformational needs analysis as well as exploring leadership and learning and teaching development. Participants will also be introduced to some useful change ‘tools’ to support learning and teaching change.

Workshop Two (13:30 - 15:00): The afternoon workshop will focus on how to ensure that learning and teaching initiatives and innovations are sustained including an exploration of team working, the development of influencing skills and how to build sustainable communities of practice.

Please note: Mercantile House and Floor 1 are swipe access only. Please ensure you arrive promptly for the start of the session as we are not able to guarantee you will be able to access the building after this time. If you are unable to access the building please call 023 9284 3327.

Please note that a £30 charge will be levied against University of Portsmouth Departments where a member of their staff has booked but not attended, unless DCQE has been notified of their absence at least 48 hours prior to the time of the event. In order to cancel, please email acdev@port.ac.uk or phone 023 9284 3328.
