The 4th London East Asia Film Festival introduces eight titles within the Film & Art strand at the Tate Modern's Starr Cinema, supported by the BFI Lottery Fund and Museum of Photography, Seoul. On 26th October, the strand will be divided in three sections. Artist Lee Lee Nam will join the talk after the screening of the series of his latest works.

Series of media art films from 'Reborn Light' to 'A Path to Peace'.
South Korean artist Lee Lee Nam is known for the perfect mix of contemporary media art and traditional culture, bringing contrast between modern day imagery with the basis of old master paintings. He is also known as the second Nam June Paik. His latest work, a series of media art films with the title, Rise of Roots will be shown for the first time in London at Tate Modern's Starr Cinema. The series will be divided starting with 'Reborn Light' to 'A Path to Peace'.
Lee's works have been exhibited at Saatchi Gallery, London as well as shown internationally. He is an exclusive artist of Samsung Electronics and currently works in Gwangju, Korea. Lee will be attending a Q&A following the screening for greater insight into media art and his unique series.
