Description

With We Are Nova

Following the success and excellent feedback from the Lean Canvass workshop run with We Are Nova in February earlier this year, we are delighted to be running this workshop again - if you missed it the first time around, then make sure you book early to secure your place.

Join us for an interactive introduction to LEAN concepts and approaches that can be used to help rapidly develop new products and get them to market whilst minimising risk and maximising investment.

LEAN Start-up is a methodology for developing businesses and products. The approach aims to shorten product development cycles by adopting a combination of business-hypothesis-driven experimentation, iterative product releases, and validated learning. This event will give you a short introduction to the business model canvas, value proposition design, Google sprints and how to scale your LEAN projects. The session will include some interactive elements to help you apply the tools to you own projects or work through some examples with other attendees. We’ll also make time for coffee and networking.

Event format:

8.30 – 9.00 Arrival and networking

9.00 – 10.00 Introduction to LEAN start up, tools & techniques

10.00 – 10.30 Breakout session

10.30 – 11.00 Feedback / discussion

11.00 – 11.30 Further networking

Who should attend?

Anyone looking for some inspiration or support for innovation projects, including innovation managers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, spin-outs, inventors, academics, and those looking to network with likeminded innovators.

When and where?

The event will be held at Sensor City, 31 Russell Street, Liverpool, L3 5LJ.

Please note that there is no parking on site, but we are a five minute walk from Lime Street Station and car parks are available on Brownlow Hill and Mount Pleasant.

About Nova:

We Are Nova believe that there is always a better way of doing things, and partner with innovators and entrepreneurs to conceive and scale digital products that open new markets or disrupt existing ones.
