Event description

Description

We are a group of female professionals based in Bristol who meet monthly and support each other in achieving our personal and professional goals.

We are part of the global movement "Lean in", launched by Sheryl Sandberg a few years ago. Our goals for the last 6 months have been to:

- Build our CONFIDENCE / ASSERTIVENESS and TAKE RISKS

- Learn how to INFLUENCE / ENGAGE / NAVIGATE through the career POLITICS

- Be better equipped to FOCUS our ENERGY on what matters to us, SAY NO, make the RIGHT DECISIONS and put ourselves FIRST

The focus of this November's meeting will be CONFIDENCE and POWER and INFLUENCE.

Leaders can find success in knowing when and how to use different power styles, and effective leaders are comfortable moving between authoritative and approachable states, depending on the situation and goal.

The factors influencing how people see you are surprising: words account for only 7 percent of how people judge you. In this meeting, we will learn the body languages of authority and approachability and how to use both styles effectively.

Guest Speaker: Confidence coach, Hils Crisp. Hils has been helping empower women to have more authentic confidence, self-belief, and presence for nearly 4 years since training as an Art of Feminine Presence Teacher in 2013. She is passionate about supporting women to truly shine in whatever they do, so they can share their gifts with the world.

There are always new faces at every meeting and we love meeting like-minded women at any stage of their career, so come along and join our circle!

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Jen&Justyna
