Lean in the Real World – Challenge your existing systems!
Due to the success of our first ‘Lean in the Real World’ workshop in November last year Complete Lean Solutions, in conjunction with The West Midlands Manufacturing Club, have the opportunity to host a second workshop on Tuesday 14th March.
Our practical and activity based workshop aims to be a perfect introduction to Lean or, if you have Lean in place, an ideal opportunity to develop new skills and challenge your existing systems. Whatever the sector or size of business, if implemented correctly, Lean will dramatically reduce costs as well increase productivity.
Why would your business find our event useful?
This event, although only a half day, will engage those who attend. It provides real examples of what works in the world of Lean. Our Toyota trained specialists will share their most recent successes, the results achieved and what took place. Further to this they will see what is relevant to the attendees and their business needs.
We aim to provide all those we train with a new outlook so they are determined to overcome the challenges they face.
Lean is now common place in manufacturing and is practiced the world over. There are countless books, courses and studies about the idea. However, being able to implement Lean with tangible results is where many businesses can struggle.
We will illustrate how you can create internal leadership, engagement and ownership. We will show how we have introduced new systems to reduce costs and dramatically improve productivity and last but not least we hope to share what not to do.
The focus will be-
The Five Lean Values-
Working in a safe and standardised Way * Never passing on poor quality to the next process (Jidoka) * To pull work and material as it is required (Jit) * Level out work (Heijunka)* Always look to the long term
The Five Lean Behaviours
Go, see & study * constantly challenge the status quo * respect the team member * Teamwork * Kaizen
