Lean Six Sigma is a globally recognised, data-driven methodology that improves any business process including operations, customer service, communications, manufacturing, design, purchasing etc. There are three levels of Lean Six Sigma certification: yellow, green and black.
The Yellow Belt is the foundation level and certification provides participants with the ability to implement each step of Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to solve the real-life problems in their business.
To achieve the Yellow Belt participants will be asked to identify a process in their organisation and optimise it using the Lean Six Sigma toolkit. The process enhancement should demonstrate a saving of at least £3,000 to the business. The short project report will need to be submitted within three months of the programme. Participants not wishing to submit a project will receive a certificate of attendance and CPD hours
The programme will be led by Master Blackbelt Helen Mackenzie who has over 30 years practical experience of integrating Lean Six Sigma into businesses.
