Learn about the IPSN & the new GCC for Food Plants
Overview
Overview:
This is the first in a new series of Global Conservation Consortium (GCC) focused webinars. The aim of the webinar series is to share knowledge and develop collaboration across the network of GCCs and with other experts and organisation with a focused on protecting plant biodiversity and conservations. The webinars are open to anyone with an interest in plant conservation.
For this webinar we will discuss two topics. First an introduction to the International Plant Sentinel Network (ISPN) with a discussion on how GCCs can collaborate on plant health & biosecurity. Then an introduction to the GCC for Food Plants that launched this year in September (2025), which is an exciting new partnership between the botanic garden and crop communities.
