Event description

Description

The Autism Education Trust (AET) is a partnership of organisations from across the voluntary, public and private sectors focused on improving the education of children and young people with autism.

The AET delivers a face–to–face training programme for staff in early years, schools and post–16 settings in London. The AET training programme is supported by the Department for Education (DfE) and can be used by schools, colleges and local authorities to meet their duties under the Children and Families Act 2014.

At this AET London regional event, you will have an opportunity to learn more about the training and to meet your local training providers. We are pleased to be able to offer attendees the opportunity to view a new AET training module, transition from school to college, which offers practitioners strategies to support young people with autism to move from school to college and on into successful adult lives.

Lunch and refreshments are included.
