At this workshop, we will bring to you one the top UK pitching experts, who trained over a thousand of entrepreneurs and now willing to share with you what it takes to persuade funders that your idea worth investments.
You will be also able to find out what leading funders are looking for whilst assessing your pitch.

Having won the British Bankers' Association’s "Excellence in Enterprise Mentoring Award" at BAFTA and the prestigious title of "Business Mentor of the Year" awarded by Start Your Business magazine she is a mentor to hundreds of businesses throughout the UK. Her sales, PR & marketing mentoring is well known to deliver outstanding results helping start-ups and SME’s raise their profiles and increase profits. Chelsey has featured extensively in the national media as a leading entrepreneur having worked in the financial markets, launched a national TV channel and floated the company on the stock market. She is an authority on the 'perfect pitch’ and an expert in pitching for funding where she has judged over 1,000 business pitches. Working with entrepreneurs she helps them to maximise chances of getting investment, making their business attractive and fundable.
Guy Ward Thomas, Associate at DN Capital
Guy joined DN Capital in 2015 as an Associate, having gained entrepreneurial experience in a Rocket Internet venture. He began his career in strategy consulting spending 4 years at OC&C advising Private Equity Clients and large European TMT, retail and FMCG clients. Guy graduated from Cambridge with a first in Social and Political Sciences and subsequently spent a year studying Economics and Management at the Judge Business School. His sectors of focus include marketplaces, fintech and software.

Andrew Adcock, Chief Marketing Officer at Crowd For Angels
Andrew is the Chief Marketing Officer at Crowd for Angels, where he is responsible for creating Crowd for Angels marketing channels and media, the running of day to day marketing activity and communicating with investors and companies. He is committed to combine his passion for social media and business in providing high levels of client satisfaction and understanding.
Crowd For Angels is an FCA regulated crowdfunding platform for debt and equity funding for both public and private companies at all stages. They aim to bring innovative and appealing products to the crowd and support public and private UK companies through all stages from seed to pre-ipo and when listed. Crowd For Angels does this through equity funding under SEIS, EIS and debt funding through convertible loans.
Luke Smith, Investor at ForwardPartners
Luke joined Forward Partners from REV Venture Partners, a corporate VC, where he was responsible for deal origination, investment due diligence and portfolio reporting. He was previously a consultant with the strategy consultancy Oliver Wyman, where he worked across the retail, aviation, healthcare and FMCG sectors.
Luke originally planned a career in science and he holds a PhD in biochemistry. His focus at Forward Partners is on sourcing and executing new investments.

Katrina Cruz, Private Investor Relations at ClearlySo
Katrina manages ClearlySo's angel investor network and catalysing private capital into early stage impact businesses. She supports Clearly Social Angels, a members only group of ClearlySo's most proactive and dedicated impact angel investors. Katrina advises ClearlySo's capital raising mandates on angel investor outreach and providing such insight to entrepreneurs to aide their pitch.
She also has broad experience across deal distribution and building relations with all major funders in the impact investment market beyond angel investors.
