Description

Google Data Studio was released from beta in September 2018 and has quickly become the must-use tool for digital marketers who take data and reporting seriously. The tool helps you bring together multiple data sources to quickly generate interactive dashboards that show you exactly how your digital marketing activity is performing.

Our half-day workshop will help you get started on Data Studio and ensure you leave with the beginnings of a basic dashboard. We will spend time looking through data sources and identifying which ones you want to include, before picking only the metrics that matter to you.

At the end of the session, we will show you how to quickly and easily produce regular reports on the insights you have gathered. This allows you to streamline the report creation process, saving you time so that you can spend more time planning and carrying out actual digital marketing activity.

Your trainer is an experienced practitioner and a qualified teacher. The course materials have been designed to be interactive, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the day. We update our materials regularly to ensure you have the most up-to-date training on the market.

The workshop will take place at Digital Allies’ new HQ in the centre of the Team Valley. Training takes place from 9.30am - 12.30pm.

Is this course for me?

This course has been designed to help digital marketers learn more about Google Data Studio and how you can build dashboards to help you make sense of your data. It will be useful if you are responsible for making marketing decisions or reporting to other members of staff about marketing performance.

How many people will be there?

In order to keep our sessions practical and give you plenty of time to have one-to-one help, we limit attendance to six people.

What should I bring with me?

Due to the practical nature of this course, you will need a Google account with access to a data source, preferably Google Analytics or Google Search Console. You will also need a laptop.

Who is my trainer?

The session will be led by Scott Goodacre, Training Lead at Digital Allies. He’s a qualified teacher and experienced marketer who has worked in senior marketing roles across several sectors.

What else do I need to know?

Our training is designed to be friendly and interactive. You can ask us anything you want - the stupidest question is the one that’s not asked!

You’ll be at our brand new office in the Team Valley, and we’ll provide tea and coffee along with free WiFi. There’s also plenty of free parking on the roads surrounding the office.
