Do I need any prior experience?

Not at all. This workshop is specifically designed for beginners and anyone who wants to build confidence  in upcycling. We’ll guide you step-by-step in a friendly, non-judgemental environment.

Who can join the workshop?

The workshop is open to all adults. It is designed to be especially welcoming to anyone who may have felt excluded from practical, tool-based skills in the past. We’re a mostly female-led team and aim to create an empowering, supportive space for everyone.

Question 3

What will I take home with me?

You’ll leave with skills and confidence to take on similar projects at home.  If you are interested in purchasing the piece you will be working on, please let us know before, so we can find a piece to suit your needs.

Question 4

What should I wear?

Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dusty, dirty, or possibly paint-marked. We’ll provide PPE (gloves, goggles, dust masks) where needed.

Is everything included?

Yes — all tools, materials, fixings, and safety equipment are included in your ticket price. We’ll also have tea and coffee on hand to keep you going.

Is the workshop physically demanding?

There are some physical elements like sanding, reaching/bending and lifting. If you have any concerns or accessibility needs, please contact us before booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely — you’re welcome to come with a friend. Each person will need their own ticket so everyone has access to tools, materials, and support.

What if I've never touched a paint brush in my life?
