Upcycle Like a Pro: Furniture Upcycling Workshop for Beginners
Tired of seeing beautiful furniture go to waste? Discover the magic of upcycling! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of transforming old furniture into something fresh and modern. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and we'll provide everything else. Leave with the ability to make a stunning, one-of-a-kind creation and a newfound love for sustainable living.
What you will learn
We work in a small group, so the session will be tailored to your skill level and experience. In general, you will work on a small item, such as a chair, stool or side table. All furniture, tools & materials are supplied.
This workshop is for 18+ only.
We provide the required PPE, but please make sure to wear closed shoes and old clothes that you don't mind getting very dusty & dirty and perhaps stained or marked.
Please keep in mind, that this workshop can be quite physically demanding. If you think you may need a bit of support with that, please let us know before you book your ticket and we can discuss with you, how we can best adjust the workshop to suit you.
The session will cover the following:
- An understanding of the upcycling process
- Cleaning
- Sanding
- Painting
- Correct tool usage
Check out below some projects that have been completed in previous workshops!
Please note: if you would like to purchase the item you have worked on, you will be given a discount off of the purchase price. If you are interested in purchasing a workshop item, please contact us prior to the workshop.
