Learn Karate - Discovery Session

If you’re thinking of giving Karate a go, why not come to our free taster session in Canterbury on Thursday, 13 November at 7pm?
Sochin Karate Club usually train at Kendall Hall, next to St Mary Bredin Church, Nunnery Fields, Canterbury - but for the session on 13 November we will be at Canterbury College, New Dover Road, Canterbury.
Training with us is very affordable with sessions usually costing just £6. EKC staff and students can join this taster session for free.
(Note: Currently the club is running a This Girl Can campaign and has a number of places available for women and teenage girls at a heavily subsidised rate thanks to funding support from Active Kent and Medway. Pop down to the club to find out more).
Places are limited to enable our beginners to train with a range of skilled Karateka. The club is led by a team of black belts and club chairman, Sensei Georges, who is a Sixth Dan and has been a Karateka for more than 50 years.
Whether you're a total newbie or have dabbled a bit, these sessions are perfect for anyone looking to learn the basics of this martial art. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of Karate, from stances to strikes. Get ready to build strength, improve flexibility, and boost your confidence.
