About this event

Training is essential if you want to succeed.

As actors you are striving in one of the most competitive fields in the world where the smallest of margins can define your career.

Those that succeed and certainly those that reach the heights do so, in the vast majority, because of their hard work and dedication to their craft.

In any other technique based profession, constant training is seen as a given : Sport, dance, painting, musical instruments, martial arts, singing … why not acting ?

So if you’re serious about your craft and your desire to improve as an actor - come join Sebastien Blanc and Caroline Farrington for a brand new season in-person workshops and see what we at the Actor’s Craft have to offer that keeps our students coming back.

Workshops run regularly each month between 11.00am - 7.00pm GMT at The Old Net Loft, with approximately 4 hours of focus each on Meisner and Method techniques.

Breaks are provided throughout the day with 45 mins allocated for Lunch between Meisner & Method classes.

This will allow you to train fully with us, experience all exercises as well as discuss the culture and philosophy behind each technique.

Stay connected to hear about upcoming workshop dates, free tickets and our audition masterclass by a leading Industry professionals.

Here is what Industry Professionals and Students say about working with us:

“ I believe Meisner is an essential tool to help create truthful and nuanced performances. Seb Blanc is an inspirational teacher - his extensive experience and knowledge of the Meisner technique will really help any actor who wants to develop and enhance their craft. Watching him work with actors is a joy.”

- Dir. John Strickland - "The Rig", "The Flight Attendant", "Strike Back", "Line of Duty", "Bodyguard", "Troy", "Three Musketeers", "Mr Selfridge"

" I’‘ve been working with Caroline & The Actors Craft for most of the last five years and I can honestly say that I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for her generosity, her kindness, her genius. Her compassion, her keen eye for detail and her ability to really bring out the best in all of her students. I just think she's remarkable. I think I've grown so much as a performer with her.”

- Adele James “Casualty”, “Queen Cleopatra”, “Underdog: The Other Brontë” (National Theatre)

"Redefined what Acting was for me... Seb and Caroline are magical, practical, tough and passionate...it's opening up every morsel of my artistic force and I can't wait to continue training with them."

- Sanee Raval - "Cold Feet," "I May Destroy You", "The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here" (Charing Cross Theatre) says :

"Training with Sebastian Blanc has been a life defining decision. The attention, support and dedication he gives every student is inspiring, and sometimes the only things that got me through the most confronting aspects of the technique. He leads you to the edge of your potential and tells you to jump. He won’t promise to catch you, he makes you believe you will fly."

- Dian Cathall- "Avenue Q", "Generation Why", " Promises of Grief"
