Have a well-loved garment that’s seen better days? Maybe a tear, a stain, or just some wear and tear? Give it a second life through visible mending with embroidery. This workshop is all about celebrating imperfections and turning them into beautiful, expressive details.

No damage? No problem. If you have a plain item of clothing that could use a little lift, embroidery is a brilliant way to customise and refresh your wardrobe with something truly one-of-a-kind.

Led by master knitter and zero-waste designer Valentina Karellas, you’ll learn how to repair and elevate garments using colourful embroidery techniques—no prior experience needed. Bring along a sweater, shirt, jeans, or even accessories and together we’ll stitch stories into your clothes, adding texture, colour, and character.

Where:The workshop takes place at PLATFORM, a concept store on Marylebone Lane in central London—a space dedicated championing independent, sustainable fashion and art designers and makers.

✨ All levels welcome—no embroidery experience required, just bring a piece of clothing to mend or decorate. If you don’t have anything suitable, we’ll provide fabric scraps to practice on.
