The Scottish Government are currently consulting on the draft Circular Economy Strategy for Scotland and are asking for people to take part and have their say.
The draft Circular Economy Strategy for Scotland sets out the rationale and benefits of a circular economy for the environment, the economy and for communities..
It provides a high-level framework for Scotland’s transition to a circular economy, setting out a broad vision and outcomes as well as priorities across policy mechanisms, priority sectors, product stewardship and a monitoring and indicator framework.
The Circular Economy (Scotland) Act 2024 requires Ministers to prepare a circular economy strategy to support Scotland’s transition to a zero waste and circular economy - and now is the time to share your thoughts.
In this webinar session, Scottish Government policy leads from the Circular Economy Division, in collaboration with Zero Waste Scotland, will discuss:
- The development of the draft Circular Economy Strategy
- Why it’s important and what it aims to achieve.
