About this Event

I think managing family emotions is one of the hardest parts of parenting. Even though I learnt about emotion coaching when my children were older, it has made such a difference to my parenting - I am a huge fan!

I usually run a “Tuning in to Teens” course over 4 sessions, however, I know how busy parents are so decided to try this bite-size version.

As I use emotion coaching daily, I know what works for me so I cover the best bits from the “Tuning in to Teens” course for you.

I will be focusing on helping you to better understanding and managing family emotions using the latest research which will help you:

• Be better able to manage your own and your children’s emotions.

• Understand how to reduce family conflict.

• Hopefully see a reduction in your children’s anxiety and challenging behaviour.

The course will cover the following topics:

• Understanding teenage emotions and what “normal” adolescent behaviour is!

• An introduction to emotion coaching to reduce family conflict.

• How you can use emotion to better manage anger and other strong emotions.

• How you can develop a family calming plan you can use in day-to-day family life.
