Learn to Build Generative AI Services (Book launch)
Overview
Details
Join us for a special book launch workshop to celebrate the release of Building Generative AI Services with FastAPI (O’Reilly, 2025). This free live session will demonstrate how to take Generative AI projects from prototype to production with practical demonstrations and insights from the book.
In this talk, Ali Parandeh will share practical approaches to building Generative AI systems that go beyond notebooks and into real-world deployment. You’ll see how to connect AI models with databases, secure, scale and guardrail AI services, stream results to interfaces, and containerise services into scalable microservices.
This session is designed for founders, engineers, developers, and researchers who want to understand what it really takes to deploy modern AI systems at scale.
Date: 27 November 2025
Time: 6:30pm to 7:45pm (1 hour)
Location: Online (Free)
We’ll cover:
- Core patterns for building AI services with FastAPI
- Securing and applying guardrails to Generative AI systems
- Connecting AI models to databases, files, and APIs
- Streaming AI outputs in real time to user interfaces
- Containerising and scaling microservices in Azure
No coding setup is required - this is a talk with live demonstrations.
✨ Special for UK participants: A limited number of signed copies of the book will be sent to a few lucky UK attendees of event.
