Learn to Crochet: 2 session Friday morning class (Banchory)

This event is a 2 session Friday morning class. You should attend both sessions.

Learn to crochet and make a cosy ear warmer - perfect for the chilly Aberdeenshire Winter!

In this workshop with Fiona Meade Crochet you will learn the core crochet stitches – chain, double, and treble crochet. You will also learn how to change colour and read crochet patterns. We will learn how to work in rows, in circles and the iconic granny square!

• Class 1: Friday 30th of January 2026, 10am - 12.30pm
• Class 2: Friday 6th of February 2026, 10am - 12.30pm

This class is suitable for complete beginners. You do not need to have crocheted before.

Light refreshments and all materials are included in the course fee. This includes all your notes and patterns, 2 balls of yarn (chose your own colours from the shop), a hook, a yarn needle and a stitch marker.

This workshop takes place at Deeside Stitches, High Street, Banchory. Please note that the workshop space is accessible, however the toilet facilities are accessed via steps.

Terms and Conditions

• All attendees must be 12 years old or over.

• All under 16s must be accompanied by a participating (ticket-holding) adult.

If the buyer needs to cancel:

• You can cancel via Eventbrite up to 30 days before the event with no penalty.

• Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won't be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is cancelled.

• If you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as you can so I can offer your ticket to somebody on the waiting list. All efforts will be made to re-sell your ticket, allowing you a full refund.

• Closer to the event there is a sliding refund scale, depending on the proximity to the event. If a replacement buyer cannot be found, the refund is 50% between 30 & 14 days before the event with no refund within 14 days of the event.

If Fiona needs to cancel:

• If the class is cancelled you will get a full ticket refund, including booking fee, or the option to transfer onto a later class.

• Travel/accommodation expenses will not be refunded.
