Learn to Crochet
Come join Cosy Rosie UK in association with Duston Parish Council (NN5), UK for a fun and interactive event where you can learn to crochet a Remembreance Poppy!
This workshop is suitable for anyone who knows the basic crochet stitches including a UK double crochet and a treble crochet.
The friendly and experienced instructor Fiona, will guide you through each step to create the Remembrance Poppy including how to change colours while working in the round, and mastering taller stitches.
Your completed poppies will be used to restore and extend the Remembrance Poppy display in Main Road, Duston in November 2025.
You are welcome to bring our own supplies (see the recommended materials below) but, don't worry if you don't have any supplies - I've got you covered! All the materials you need to complete the workshop will be provided - just bring yourself and a willingness to learn the project.
You will receive a colour copy of the printed crochet pattern to take away with you, with links to the video tutorial to help you complete more poppies in your own time to use in the display.
So, mark your calendar and join us for a workshop filled with creativity, laughter, and newfound crochet skills. Get ready to unleash your inner artist and create beautiful poppyies for the Remembrance display.
