Event description

Description

Crochet workshop for kids to learn with a supportive grown up with the aim of producing a 20cm crocheted square as part of YARN 20/20: a celebration of craft and community in Adur. Please note each child must be accompanied by an adult. Please book one ticket per child and adult pair.

Squares collected by May 2018 will be joined together to yarnbomb Adur in June 2018 so you'll be able to spot your squares being part of a work of art! After the yarnbomb the swuares will be turned into blankets for charities including Worthing Churches Homeless Project.

Drop your finished squares off at participating places in Adur including Lancing, Shoreham and Southwick libraries (check the Facebook page for an up to date list of collection points). We’d love it if you could let us know where you made your squares, where you are from and your age.

YARN 20/20 workshops have been kindly funded by Sussex Community Foundation. The tutor for this workshop is Katie Leversuch of Katie Creates (www.etsy.com/shop/KatieCreatesUK).
