Learn to Identify Bees at Wytham Woods

Wytham Woods is delighted to announce the launch of our new citizen science project “The Wytham Bee Walks”
Two training days with the best-selling author of the “Field Guide to the Bees of Great Britain and Ireland", Steven Falk.
Both training days are free to anyone who is interested in learning to identify bumblebees, even if you decide not to become one of our citizen scientists.
The course is comprised of two dates. The first course, on April 15th, will be aimed at complete beginners to the world of bee identification. The second course, on April 22nd, is aimed at people looking to improve their knowledge (although novices are still welcome!)

Saturday 15th April, 10am-4pm -Beginners Bumblebee ID Course
Saturday 22nd April, 10am-4pm - Improvers Bumblebee ID Course
Please meet in the Wytham Woods car park (OX2 8QQ) 15 min before the start of the course, permits not required, please wear sensible footwear and clothing, please bring a drink and packed lunch.
No dogs are permitted in the woodland
