Recycle Week 2021 is in September and the theme this year is 'Step it Up this Recycle week' as it goes without saying that we, as a collective, need to do more. Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues, with an increasing amount of plastic being manufactured, thrown away and reaching the biosphere, where it harms creatures large and small.

Ecobricks are a simple, low-tech solution to put our plastic to good use in short and long term applications. Plastic is packed into bottles which make building blocks that can be reused over and over again. Ecobricks safely secure plastic out of the biosphere and build spaces that enrich our community.

In this 1 hour hour session, you will learn how to make Ecobricks and join a growing community of Ecobrickers in the UK. You can use the Ecobricks in your own project or contribute them to one of ELBA & the BIG Alliance's community projects. Come along and play your part in stepping it up this Recycle Week in a fun way!
