Meditation is an effective tool to combat stress, depression, anxiety and other negative states of mind. Through meditating we can develop a habit of thinking positively which leads to the experience of a more relaxed mind. In this day retreat, the basics of meditation are clearly explained, including how to establish and maintain a practice.

The retreat is suitable for anyone from complete beginners to those with many years of experience. No special clothes are needed, just wear something comfortable. We sit on chairs, but if you prefer you are welcome to sit on a cushion on the floor.

The retreat will be guided by Pat Quinn, one of Potala’s dedicated managers and meditation teacher.
